BRACKET RACING

You are here: Cafe Racer Club Home Racing - Bracket Racing

Bracket Racing events are regularly conducted at Mallala. They are used as an introduction to road racing, similar to the concept of clubman racing in "good old days". Through 2004 we saw 2 full grids (20 riders per grid) front the starter. We're having a lot of fun out there.

BREAKING NEWS - Well known motorcycle racing commentator from the BBC, Suzi Perry has become the latest convert to Bracket Racing. No, she's not out there racing with us, yet. But she has agreed to be an ambassador for ladies racing. Good on you, Suzi.

At our March 2nd 2003 meeting the number of ladies riding is remaining steady at 12-14 each meeting, which is encouraging, and there are continuing enquiries. We expect to see more ladies out there, getting their knees down. Our target is a full grid (20 riders) before the end of the 2003 season. You've got to believe we'll do it. If you want to join the fun contact us by email
