Billy McConnell set the pace in open competition and had Michael Brenton, Dave Anderson, Matt Childs and Dean Martinello hot on his heels throughout the weekend. The meeting also saw the running of the first round of the Reece Bancell Trophy series which forms part of the club's series for 2004. Our top 3 point scorers at the end of the round are Billy McConnell, Dean Martinello and Jason Weatherstone.

Practice prior to the meeting saw one rider well stuck and uncovered a bit of a weapon lurking in one of the sheds - it does have too many wheels though.
