Mallala - November 22^nd 2003
These images were taken by Adam Fisher of AFphoto.net at Mallala on November 22^nd, 2003. They predominantly feature life members Steve Martin (DFX Ducati) and Dave Johnson who were "home" in South Australia at the end of the World Superbike and British Championship seasons respectively. Both riders spent time in practice and on race day helping the local riders with set up and riding advice. Thanks guys, it's great to see you putting back into the club. Thanks also for turning on a show with Craig McMartin (Ducati Sydney) and local riders like Sean McKay, Michael Brenton, Dave Anderson and Billy McConnell. A special word of thanks to Craig McMartin and Ducati Sydney for providing Steve with a bike to ride, and also to club member Greg Pitt who handed his GSXR-1000 over to Dave Johnson for the weekend.

We understand that Steve went on to set a new Mallala Production Superbike record on Sunday in Round 3 of the S.A. Road Race Championships with a time of 1:08.4.

Not to be outdone, club VP Bob went a bit snap happy as well and provided us with these photos from around the pits. It's good to see the boys making themselves available for a few photo's and autographs. Extra surprise guest, Casey Stoner, was also on hand to catch up with a few friends.
