Practice- We hold practice ride days often throughout the year. Utilised by riders of all abilities, practice days are the gateway to the best on track experience. For a comprehensive rider training course, sign up to our Kneescraper Training Days.

Official- A little apprehensive about hitting the track right away? Well there is no other way to get closer to the action than to volunteer as an official for the day. Volunteer officials are usually given the task of flag marshals out on track where you can see exactly what goes on from a front row seat. All training supplied on the day.

Spectator- Motorsports are great to watch on TV, but nothing can beat the excitement and atmosphere of being there. Spectators have complete access to the pit area so you're right in the midst of the action. Entertainment planned for 2012 includes Stunt Riders, Mustang Club Show, Racecar vs Racebike races, bouncy castles and face painting.

SA Café Racers smash Hidden Valley lap records

24th April 2012

Last weekend’s round two of the ASBK championship saw three of our local members, Olly Simpson, Daniel Falzon and Hudson Pitt, show the national racing competition just what SA can do!

Not to be put off by the extreme Darwin humidity, all three racers left their mark.

Young Olly’s weekend was bitter sweet, claiming the Superlites lap record in day one, from a far more experienced Josh Hook, had the crowd talking and waiting in anticipation of race one where he had claimed pole position. Olly led race one for 4 laps, when he unfortunately low slided at turn 5. A gallant Olly was up and off the track immediately so the race could continue, despite cradling his arm. Poor Olly has fractured a bone in his forearm but should manage to make the next round in Qld, early June. He returned to the track on Sunday complete with cast, sling and his trademark big smile.

Daniel’s performance over the weekend can only be described as sensational, claiming two new lap records in qualifying and race one. Pole position gave him the confidence and edge to take it through with three race wins. This outing has given Daniel a comfortable lead in the 600 superstock championship.

After facing a some braking problems early in the weekend, Hudson put in a solid performance putting himself in 7th position on the grid. On Sunday, things fell into place and he came through to claim third place in the Superlites final race, which also gave him a podium position for the weekend.  A strong 3rd place in the championship points will carry him through to the next round.

All in all a very successful weekend for our members, we wish them all the best.

YOUNGEST RIDER AT THE WORLD SUPERBIKES

10th April 2012

YOUNGEST RIDER AT THE WORLD SUPERBIKE ROUND GETS POLE POSITION.
Olly just turned 14 last month and qualified in first position for the opening round of the newly formed Australian 250cc Production Championship.

In a hard fought battle all race with Mackay Kawasaki’s Luke Burgess who edged out Olly (left on Podium) by .09 of a second to take the win with Olly coming second place for the weekend. This new class proved to have some of the closest racing of the weekend.
Olly would like to thank SA Motorcycles, Kawasaki Australia, Allbikes racing & Contour Cameras for their support and he looks forward to competing in the rest of the Championship.
